Regular Season Meets
Regular season meets are usually scheduled between October and March. They are either home or away meets. Awards for regular season meets, though different depending on the host team, are normally ribbons.

Invitational Meets
Invitational meets are special home or away meets. They are included in the Meet Fees added to your tuition. Awards for invitational meets, though different depending on the host team, normally consist of medals and trophies. Usually the fee includes a t-shirt or special gift for each gymnast.

Championship Meets

Championship meets are the largest of the meets and usually occur towards the end of the season. With the exception of Nationals, meet fees to these meets are included in Meet Fees portion of your tuition. There are four championship meets Greenfield participates in:

• Western Area Leagues is for the YMCAs in our area league, which consists of Hampshire, Clark, Westfield and Greenfield. No qualification score is needed to compete at Leagues. It is usually held in March.

• Tri-state Championships is for the YMCAs in RI, MA and NH. A qualification score is needed to compete at States. It is usually held in April.

• Northeast YMCA Regionals is the final meet for the YMCAs in the Northeast Region. A qualification score is needed to compete at Regionals. It is usually held in May.

• YMCA Gymnastics Nationals is the largest meet of the year. It is held in a new location every year, and hosts more than 2,000 YMCA gymnasts from all over the country. For 2019, Nationals will be held in Wisconsin. Interest in Greenfield gymnasts attending Nationals will be assessed in January. A qualification score is needed to compete at Nationals. Nationals is usually held at the end of June.
